i had two táo khuyết accounts

and just wanted lớn change the primary tin nhắn address for the both with each other

when i changed the first one my old tin nhắn cant be used with other tài khoản then i tried replacing my old tin nhắn it doesnt replace it says

This tin nhắn address is not available for use as an Apple ID. You may already have an Apple ID associated with this address. Please try again or sign in using your existing Apple ID.

Thanks for asking the question. I had a similar situation and I have solved it in my own case. I had a duplicate/s accounts one of which referred lớn my gmail tài khoản. My main ID for táo khuyết had apps associated with it and táo khuyết orders sánh wanted lớn continue using, but it was an old ID sánh not yet converted lớn be an tin nhắn address which caused problems when trying lớn setup an icloud tài khoản, sánh i needed lớn change my main ID lớn be my tin nhắn tài khoản and obviously wanted lớn use my main tin nhắn tài khoản, but this you guessed it tied up with one of the duplicates. Tried changing ID in duplicates and removing secondary tin nhắn addresses but did not seem lớn 'free up' the tin nhắn address. Was going lớn use a completely different tin nhắn address and then remembered that you can use @googlemail.com and @gmail.com interchangeably for gmail accounts. So I have mix my táo khuyết id lớn the googlemail one. Hope this helps someone too.
